Description

The Old Nevis Bridge in Fort William is an earlier 19th-century single-span rubble bridge. It features a single dressed rubble arch ring, reinforced on either side by square, stepped buttresses. The bridge has a squared, tooled ashlar parapet and a tarmac roadway that is closed by bollards. The span of the bridge is approximately 60 feet.
