Description
This is an earlier 19th century, two-storey and attic dwelling with three bays, situated on the Square in Beauly. The building is harled and features an irregular arrangement of windows. Three original piended dormers are visible in the roof, which is slate covered. Chimneys are located at each end of the building.
The main elevation faces Commercial Street. When the building was originally listed, a single-storey wing extended to the rear along Commercial Street. This wing was used as a garage with a workshop in the early 1980s. It was subsequently replaced around 1990 by a two-storey infill range, complete with dormers and a pend that provides the entrance to Priory Court. Historic maps document the building's presence and surrounding area, including details from 1904 and 1966.
