Description
This is an early 19th-century, single-story gate lodge, built symmetrically and facing east. It is a five-bay structure with harled walls. The central three bays project forward, featuring a central entrance sheltered by a gableted canopy supported by a pair of simple, painted wooden columns. Small windows flank the entrance, with short return bays to the sides. The outer wings are set back slightly and contain a larger single window each. All windows feature casements with horizontal panes. The lodge has paired octagonal chimney stacks at the centre, and a taller octagonal stack at the southeast angle; a matching stack is missing at the northeast corner. The roofs are piended and covered in slate.
