Description
Ferry Look Out is an early 19th century, single-storey octagonal building located on a slightly raised platform that overlooks the Kyle of Tongue. The structure is made of harled rubble with tooled ashlar margins. It features a central door on the west face, flanked by windows, with additional windows on the north and south sides. The building has a tall rear wall with margins and a corniced stack, topped by an octagonal piended slate roof and a stumpy lead finial. There is a drystone coped retaining wall surrounding the raised site.
