Description
Ivy House is a late 18th-century building located on the north side of Mercury Row. It is three storeys tall, constructed from stone, and features a stone slate roof with plain gable coping and kneelers. There are two stone stacks at the gable ends. The central doorway has moulded jambs and a moulded semi-circular head with a keystone. The central window on the first floor is similar in style to the doorway below it but is blocked. The other windows are quite plain, with stone architraves and glazing bars on the top storey. Ivy House is part of a group with the building next to it on the west.
