Description

27 New Market is an 18th-century building of two storeys, constructed in stone. It has a stone slate roof with kneeler detailing. The Mercury Row elevation features three windows with stone architraves, although these windows lack glazing bars. The ground floor has three windows and a six-panel door with a rectangular fanlight. The New Market elevation is rendered and includes a 19th-century shop front. Numbers 27 and 29 New Market are part of a group with Number 12 Mercury Row.
