Description

No 1 Mercury Row is an 18th-century building located on the south side of Mercury Row, adjacent to No 50 Kirkgate. It is constructed of stone and has two storeys. The building features one five-light mullion window and one single-light window on the upper floor, along with two single-light windows on the ground floor. The ground floor also includes a plain shop front and two doorways that are framed with stone architraves. No 1 Mercury Row is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 5 (odd) and No 9.
