Description
This is a mid-to-late 19th century causeway spanning the River Erradale, located on the B8056 road near South Erradale. The causeway consists of 14 arches constructed with rubble, reinforced with cast concrete arch rings. It features a rubble parapet finished with a dressed rubble cope. Triangular cutwaters are present on the eastern (upstream) side. The structure is depicted on the first edition Ordnance Survey map of 1874.
