Description
Bogbain Farmhouse is an early 19th century, symmetrical, two-storey house facing west. A two-storey wing extends from the rear. The walls are built of harled rubble, with tooled ashlar detailing around the edges. The central doorway is hidden behind a gabled porch, which also features a side entrance and a window on the front. A rectangular bay window has been added to the ground floor of the north return gable. The windows have four panes of glass on the front, with a variety of glazing elsewhere. The roof is piended (hipped) and covered in slate, with paired ridge stacks. The rear wing has a gabled roof and an end stack.
