Description

East Crown House, located at 14 Crown Avenue in Inverness, was built in 1815 and features later wings that enclose an open court, although the west wing has since been demolished. The building is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings and has rusticated quoins at the wings. The central section consists of three bays and includes a pilastered doorpiece at the center, with tripartite windows on the outer sides. One wing has a canted end, while the rear of the house showcases a triple bowed center, with bows positioned at the angles of the wings.
