Description
The bridge was built between 1751 and 1752 by Major W. Caulfield. It is a small, single-span rubble bridge with a dressed rubble arch ring and a coping to a low parapet. The approaches are slightly splayed. The bridge formed part of the military road connecting Fort William and Tyndrum. Further information can be found in William Taylor’s The Military Roads in Scotland (1976), pages 70-75.
