Description
Lythmore is an earlier to mid-19th century building that features a symmetrical, two-storey, seven-bay west-facing range. It is constructed of rubble with tooled rubble dressings. The outer bays have paired shallow segmental-headed cart bays, while the centre has three similar linked arches; the middle arch leads to an inner court, and the outer arches are blind with small inserted windows. At the wallhead, there are seven symmetrical square loft vents, and the building has an off-centre ridge stack. The roof is covered with graded Caithness slate. Inside, the floors are made of Caithness flags.
