St Columba's Roman Catholic Church, built in 1838, is a rectangular church oriented to the northwest, featuring a three-stage square tower at the southeast gable. The church is constructed of harled rubble with polished ashlar dressings. The entrance is round-headed and located at the base of the tower, with a similarly shaped window above it and a blind oculus below a blocked wallhead cornice. The tower has a crenellated wallhead with a small stack that serves the tower vestry, which is concealed by the crenellation. Each flank of the church has three round-headed windows, and there is a single blocked window in the northwest crowstepped gable. All openings are framed with long-short rusticated ashlar architraves and have ashlar cills. The building features rusticated long-short quoins, an apex cross at the northwest, and a bandcourse along the long elevations beneath the crenellated wallheads. The slate roof is in very poor condition. The interior has been gutted.
