Description
74-78 Church Street in Inverness is a building dating from around 1725, which underwent reconstruction by William Glashan in 1972. The exterior is harled with margins and features three storeys and an attic, presenting a six-bay front. An arcade was created at the ground floor during the 1972 reconstruction, and there are two small swept dormers on the roof. At the rear, the building forms a three-sided courtyard with two-storey, three-bay wings. The roofs are slated, and the structure has crowstepped gables. Additionally, there are two-storey, two-bay extensions to the rear wings, and a harled garden wall topped with stone coping.
