Description
This is a single-story, three-bay cottage, likely dating from around 1842. It is probably associated with the clearance of local settlements in 1842, when the area was consolidated into a single farm. The cottage is built of harled, whitewashed rubble, with an additional bay to the left that has a window only at the rear. The front, or north-west elevation, has a door flanked by two windows. A lean-to addition of rubble construction is attached to the southwest gable, while a wooden lean-to is located at the rear. The windows are 4-pane sash and case type. The roof is covered with renewed slates, and there are two harled chimney stacks. A range of associated outbuildings, constructed of rubble with corrugated sheet metal roofs, stands to the north.
