Description
This is an early to mid-18th century, two-storey, three-bay house located in Helmsdale, behind 11 Shore Street. The house is harled with ashlar margins. A central doorway provides access, and the window placement is slightly irregular, with two windows on the first floor. A forestair (an external staircase) is present at the east gable, leading to the first-floor entrance. The windows have varied glazing patterns. The house has end chimneys with moulded and rolled cornices, and a steeply pitched slate roof. A two-storey, two-bay wing extends from the west gable, featuring ground floor windows only and a temporary corrugated iron flat roof.
