Description

Circa 1875. Detached villa, 2-storey and attic; 3-bay house,

polished ashlar. All windows with pilastered jambs.

Steps to central pilastered and corniced doorpiece; vestibule

door in oak with good leaded coloured glass figurative

panels. Blocking course over porch. Above door single-light

window. 2-storey bay windows flank door: square to left

rising to gable with arched attic window; bow to right

conical slate roof. Sash windows, plate glass glazing. Mutule

cornice, steeply pitched slate roofs with corniced axial

stacks and central wallhead scrolled stack; decorative

incised flues. Centrally placed cupola.

Stugged ashlar rear and flanks. Corniced oriel to E flank.

Droved ashlar coped garden wall, corniced gatepiers.
