Description

Late 19th century. Classically detailed villa, storeys and attic. Lightly stugged ashlar with polished margins and smooth rusticated quoins.

3-bay N-elevation with steps to unfluted Corinthian balustraded porch, double-leaf panelled doors, vestibule door glazed tripartite. Flanking door, 2-storey projecting windows with incised apron panels to 1st floor; that to left square, canted to right. Above porch, architraved bipartite. Sash windows, plate glass glazing. Strings at eaves, wide timber bracketted eaves. Top-lit attic billiard room with piended roof. Tall corniced axial stacks, octagonal cans, slate roofs.

W flank: steps to 1st floor entrance of modern 1-bay, 2-storey addition. Otherwise windows bi or tripartite.

Coped droved ashlar wall to garden with pair of full square corniced ashlar gatepiers.
