31-32 Lansdowne Crescent, Glasgow

31-32 Lansdowne Crescent in Glasgow is a tenement building dating from around 1875. It features eight bays and is adjacent to 33 Lansdowne Crescent, with a three-bay return elevation facing 401 North Woodside Road. The building is constructed from polished ashlar stone, which is channelled at the ground level and has been cleaned. It stands three storeys high with a basement, and the steps leading to the entrance oversail the basement area. The doorways are framed by pilasters and cornices.

On the ground floor, the windows have bracketed cills, while all upper windows are architraved and corniced at the first floor. The windows are sash types, with either plate glass or four-pane glazing, featuring a mix of single light and tripartite arrangements. A string course runs over the ground and at the cills of the first and second floors. The building is topped with a mutule cornice and has axial and wallhead stacks. Modern cast-iron railings are present at the steps and around the basement.
