301 Wilton Street, Glasgow

301 Wilton Street is a double villa built around 1860, showcasing a Thomsonesque and picturesque style. The building is two storeys high and features an asymmetrical design with bold, full-height, six-light bowed windows at the prominent west and north corners. The exterior is constructed of ashlar stone, which is channelled at the ground level. There are cill courses and a band course that encircle the building, except at the rear. The slate roofs have deep timber eaves, and the bows have shallow curves with lead platforms.

The entrances are plain but feature good panelled storm doors, with one entrance facing each street. The windows are generally one or two lights, except for the two large five-light bows and a mullion and transom stair window at the rear. Additionally, there are two first-floor windows with gablet heads. The building also includes a variety of chimney stacks and has a rear wing with a canted bay in the re-entrant angle, along with low retaining walls.
