Description

Circa 1865. Terrace of generous 2-storey, 3-bay houses. Painted ashlar, channelled at ground. Each house with central tripartite doorway, 4-light canted window to right, 3-light shallow projecting window to left, both rising through 2 storeys. Continuous cill courses (decorated to 1st floor) and cornices over each storey, pierced roof parapet with circled design. Slate roof. Square, corniced gatepiers.

Inner door in glazed screen. Sash and case windows, plate glass glazing. No 8: with decorative cast-iron barleysugar columned verandah, intricately patterned balustrade fronting 1st floor.

Nos 9 and 9a: house converted to 2 dwellings with additional door.

No 13: 3-l;ight window replaced with bold 4-light bow; above large bowed conical roofed dormer set in Mansard roof with alternating bands of fishscale slates; 2 further dormers with arched lights, 1 single, 1 tripartite.
