Description
The Doulton Fountain is an elaborate terra-cotta fountain designed by A E Pearce of Doulton's for the 1888 Glasgow Empire Exhibition. It was moved to its current location in Glasgow Green in 1890. The fountain features three tiered basins set within a wide outer basin, adorned with figures that represent the British Empire, and is topped by a statue of Queen Victoria.
