Description

James Salmon and Son, 1874, as Free Church. Early English Gothic; on corner site, square tower with stone spire (150' high); halls to N rebuilt after 1899 and also with gable fronting Armadale Street. Snecked ashlar; polished dressings; slate roofs. 3 stage tower is buttressed, pinnacles at foot of spire; stepped 3-light gable window over deeply recessed main door; plain N flank to Roslea Drive with gable right. Hall has door central; 3 tall lancets.

INTERIOR: gallery to 3 sides supported on cast-iron columns and with panelled front, some exposed roof timbers; pulpit at W end and organ by Willis of London, formerly at Trinity Duke Street Church.
