Description
This building is a public house located at 9, 11, and 13 Watson Street in Glasgow, designed by James Hamilton and built around 1880. It is a three-storey and attic corner tenement featuring public houses on the ground floor, with stone-cleaned ashlar above. The architectural style is Italianate, characterized by arcaded windows with pilastered jambs and mullions. The first-floor windows are round-arched, while the upper windows have stilted segmental arches. There is a prominent main cornice, and attic windows are positioned at the curved corner and regularly along Watson Street. The building also has a distinctive glazing pattern with casements.
