Gate, Kenmuir Mount Vernon Church And Hall, 2405 London Road, Mount Vernon, Glasgow

Kenmuir Mount Vernon Church and Hall, built in 1883, is a Gothic-style church located on London Road in Mount Vernon, Glasgow. The building features a tall nave and aisles facing the street, with a gable that has a pinnacled buttress on the right and a pencil-like octagonal turret on the left, which rises to a belfry stage topped with a metal-finialed spire. The gable includes three tall arcaded lights and a cusped circular window above. There is a gabled porch on the east aisle to the right, and an L-plan range to the left that includes a hall and vestry, characterized by stepped three-light windows facing the street. The church is constructed of snecked ashlar with polished dressings, featuring mostly lancet openings and paired clerestory lights, all under slate roofs.

In front of the church, there are square gatepiers and decorative cast-iron gates adorned with cusped ornament.
