Description
This building, located at 147, 149, and 151 North Street in Glasgow, dates from around 1860 and is a four-storey tenement with alterations to the ground floor. It features a double pile plan and consists of 16 bays. The exterior is finished in polished ashlar, with some areas painted.
Channelled pilaster strips divide the bays between the first and second floors. The windows are mainly sash and case, with some featuring 12-pane glazing. The second floor has panelled aprons, moulded cills, sculpted shell-head windows, and keyblocks. There is a cill band on the third floor with pilaster mullioned windows. The building has a plain frieze and cornice, topped with an axial slate and tile roof.
