Charles Wilson, 1853. Classical 3-storey tenement on

corner with modern shops and Edwardian bank at NE

corner. 15 x 7 unequal bays; arranged 5-5-5 on main

elevation. Polished ashlar. Windows from E on

Sauchiehall Street 3rd, 13th bays 2-light, 6th 10th

bays 3-light, 8th bay 4-light; from N on North Street

1st, 7th bays 3-light, 3 centre windows grouped. Sash

and case windows. Ground floor cornice. 1st floor

cill band, windows architraved console corniced, raised

with shell tympana to centre windows of each block;

2nd floor moulded cill band, architraved windows;

bracketted cornice; blocking course; corniced ridge

stacks, 1 reduced wallhead stack to Sauchiehall

Street Westmost section.
