Description

The Statue of Thomas Campbell, located in George Square, Glasgow, was created by sculptor John Mossman in 1867. This bronze statue commemorates Thomas Campbell, a poet who lived from 1777 to 1844. The statue depicts Campbell in contemporary costume, standing atop a polished grey granite stepped plinth.
