Description

Triple range of steadings in centre of old farm complex.

Whinstone rubble walls, hipped pantile roofs, old raftered

tie-beam construction. Immediately opposite on south east

side is a fine open fronted cart shed with nine round ashlar

columns (reused?) forming a loggia. Rear rubble walls, end

wall to west of whin and droved ashlar part of original wall

enclosing farmyard. Lean-to pantile roof, plain rafters, wood

lintels without caps; turned bases on square stone plinths

to columns.
