Description
Easter Kilwhiss Farm features a triple range of steadings located in the center of an old farm complex. The walls are made of whinstone rubble, topped with hipped pantile roofs, and the construction includes old raftered tie-beams. On the southeast side, there is a notable open-fronted cart shed supported by nine round ashlar columns, which may be reused, creating a loggia. The rear walls are also made of rubble, with the end wall to the west constructed from whin and droved ashlar, which is part of the original wall that encloses the farmyard. The cart shed has a lean-to pantile roof, plain rafters, and wood lintels without caps, while the columns rest on turned bases set on square stone plinths.
