Description
Balbirnie Railway Viaduct, built in 1860, is a ten-arch railway viaduct. It features bull-faced rubble piers and ashlar coped buttresses beneath large square blocks, with the piers tapering toward the springing point. The semicircular arches lead up to a flat coped parapet. There are cast iron ties under each arch.
