Description
This 17th-century building is a circular sandstone rubble stump of a tower windmill, featuring a barrel vaulted chamber below. The tower stands 4 meters high and has a diameter of 4.7 meters, with a cap track for moving parts visible above. The entrance has chamfered jambs and leads to a roughly coursed sandstone outer wall to the north of the chamber, flanked by swept rubble wings. A grass-covered earthen mound covers the remaining part of the chamber and surrounds the base of the windmill.
