Description
Dunstan Cottage, located at 7 Main Street, Kingsbarns, dates to the early 19th century and has undergone several alterations since its original construction. It began as a single-storey, three-cottage row. The western section is built of rubble with droved dressings and a piended pantiled roof; it features a poorly-executed modern porch, and its windows have been reglazed. The remainder of the building is of simpler rubble construction with a pantile roof. The eastern section has been altered to serve as a garage. The listing recognises the group value of the cottage (re-categorised as C(S) from B in 2006) and applies to both the interior and exterior. The statutory address is Dunstan Cottage (Wellers) off Main Street.
