Description

This early 19th century building, Balmerino, is located at 19 Main Street, Kingsbarns, and comprises two elements: Balmerino itself and the adjacent building known as the Old Hoose. It is constructed from large, roughly squared rubble with a pantile roof. Balmerino has two windows and a central door, while the Old Hoose has four windows, one of which has been altered to a bipartite arrangement, alongside a door. A garage has been recently added to the back of the property. The building is designated as a Category C listed building, and this designation reflects the significant group value it holds in the local historical context.
