Description
The building at Wellgate, 2 The Square, Kingsbarns, comprises two houses, the main house dating from the early 18th century and an attached house from the early 19th century. The original house is a two-storey, three-window structure with a crowstepped gable facing the street. It is harled with chamfered margins, and one ground-floor window has been altered. Attached to the northeast front, facing the square, is a two-storey, three-window house built of ashlar with margins and featuring an interesting chimney with a New-Greek style cope. The statutory address includes the garden walls.
