Description
The churchyard surrounding Kingsbarns Parish Church contains rubble enclosing walls and square gatepiers, rebuilt in 1838 by Scott and Oswald. A notable 17th-century memorial, dated 1638, is embedded within the rubble wall. This memorial features funerary symbols, an inscribed panel, and a monogrammed shield. The churchyard also contains a small number of good 18th- and early 19th-century headstones, along with later Victorian and modern stones. The listing recognizes the churchyard’s group value and applies to both the interior and exterior as appropriate. The statutory address is Kingsbarns Parish Churchyard, The Square and Main Street.
