Description
The stables, dated 1811 on a shield on the south front, are a symmetrical, two-storey classical building. They comprise a two-window-wide central arched pend and flanking coachhouses, with rubble construction and margins and droved dressings. Originally, there were three pediments; the roof is now asbestos. A north range features a lintel dated 1774, a moulded arched transom with infill, and a doorway dated 1683, all under a slate roof. Good wrought-iron gates mark the north entrance.
