Description

Brae House is an 18th century, two-storey building that was originally two adjoining houses with a shop on the ground floor. It is situated on sloping ground facing The Cross at High Street in Auchtermuchty. The principal southeast elevation features four doorways, with the door on the far left flanked by windows. The first floor has five evenly spaced windows. The exterior is harled with raised and chamfered margins, and the roof is slated, featuring a skew gable to the southwest and a crowstepped gable to the northeast.
