Description
The dovecot, likely dating to the 17th and 18th centuries, is located at Largo Home Farm, Upper Largo. It is a rectangular structure built of whin and boulder rubble, originally thinly harled, and featuring large ashlar dressings. The dovecot has a central door and a distinctive rat course stepped on either side. Its gables are crowstepped. The roof has been removed, but stone nesting boxes remain within the structure.
