Description
Cullaloe Temple is an earlier 19th century single storey shelter or temple with an octagonal plan. It is constructed of stugged, coursed ashlar and features round arched openings on each side. The building has a heavy projecting cornice and a pyramidal roof that is stone flagged and ridged, rising to an octagonal stone apex. Inside, there is a thick central octagonal pier that supports eight segmental ribs, which spring to the outer piers. The floor is geometrically flagged with stone.
