Description
Stenton Cottage, located at 4 Stenton Row in Elie, is likely from the early 19th century and has undergone some later alterations. The building is two storeys high, constructed from rubble with droved dressings and painted margins. Its street-facing elevation features three bays, with a central entrance door flanked by later bipartite windows on the ground floor. To the left, there is a corbelled canted three-light oriel bay window on the first floor. The central window and the one to the right are original, both reglazed with two-pane sashes. The roof is slated, and there is a rendered chimneystack on the left side.
