Description
186-188 High Street in Burntisland is an early 19th-century, two-storey building that features a shop on the ground floor and is part of an irregular terrace. The structure is constructed from squared and snecked whinstone, with raised cills, a base, a band, and eaves courses.
The north elevation facing High Street has a central door with a tripartite fanlight. To the right of this door, there is another door with a plate glass fanlight situated between two bays, along with a later display window at the far right. On the left side, there is a window. The first floor has three windows.
The building has plate glass glazing throughout, with timber sash and case windows on the first floor. The roof is covered with grey slates, and features ashlar coped skews and truncated stacks.
