The Linktown Railway Viaduct in Kirkcaldy was built by Bouch and Grainger between 1845 and 1847. It features nine arches, consisting of seven main segmental arches and smaller arches at each end. The viaduct has impost block bands and battered bull-faced ashlar piers, with narrow rock-faced ashlar spandrels. The arch rings and parapet are made of ashlar, and the soffits are also ashlar.
