Description
2 Valley Drive in Leslie is a post-1856, two-storey lodge-style house with a T-plan and gabled roof. The building is constructed from squared and snecked whinstone, featuring contrasting long and short work ashlar quoins, window and door margins, and chamfered arrises. It has deeply overhanging eaves with scrolled barge boards on the gables.
On the west (main) elevation, there is a panelled door located in a recessed bay to the left, which is topped with a stone bracketed cornice and block pediment. There is a partially blocked window opening in an advanced bay, with a small window above at the centre. A modern patio door is situated on the right return, along with a window to the right.
The south elevation features a modern conservatory at ground level, which conceals a door to the left and has a small window above at the centre.
On the north elevation, there is a door at the ground right, with a window to the left and a small window above at the centre.
The property has modern glazing throughout and is roofed with graded grey slates. Coped ashlar stacks are present on the north and south sides, with paired diamond-aligned stacks on the west.
