Description
Braehead House is a fine, two-storey, three-window house located on High Street in Auchtermuchty. The house is harled and features keyblocked margins around the door lintel, which has an inscription with the date. Above the entrance, there is a sundial. The building has crowstepped gables and a pantiled roof. A moulded round-arched garden gateway, dating from the 17th century, is aligned with the house and was rebuilt during its restoration in 1963.
