20 Mill Wynd, Lundin Links

This is an 18th and early 19th century mill complex, located off Mill Wynd in Lundin Links, which was restored and converted into residential dwellings around 1970. The building is two and three storeys high and constructed of rubble with large, roughly-faced dressings around the original window and door openings. It has an L-shaped plan, although a wing that originally extended to the west has been demolished.

The north elevation features a large arched opening, originally for a cart, now glazed. The window arrangement is irregular, and there is a chimney on the wallhead. Modern French windows are set into return bays. An outshot at the east end reveals the location of the original mill wheel.

To the south, a three-storey, three-window section is situated to the right, with irregular fenestration, adjoined by a two-storey section to the left, which has a large, segmental arched doorway. The south-east wing now serves as garages. The west elevation has four windows, a configuration introduced when the western wing was removed. The building is roofed with piended pantiles, and a rubble chimney is located on the west side.

The mill is depicted as a flour mill on an Ordnance Survey map from 1855.
