Description
The Dovecot at Craigluscar is a square-plan structure built in the later 18th century. It features exposed rubble walls with squared quoins and a plain, squared cornice.
On the north elevation, there is a central doorway. A rubble wall extends to the north from the doocot and south from an opposite barn, although the connecting gate is missing. The wall has square coping stones placed intermittently on top to create a crenellated effect.
The east elevation presents a plain gable, while the south elevation has two flight holes for the doocot located to the left. The west elevation includes projecting stones that form a triangular section, with rows of flight holes present.
The roof is missing and is partially covered with corrugated sheet material. Inside, there is a flagstone floor that remains in part, and the nesting boxes have been bricked up.
