Description
Newbigging is a small two-storey former laird's house built in the 18th century, featuring harled walls and a slate roof. The building has undergone significant alterations over the years. Notably, John Erskine, known for "The Institutes of the Law of Scotland," lived here. It is said that the house was designed by one of the Adams family of architects.
