Description

This is a circa 1870 cottage, likely designed by Caslake. It is a single-storey building with a two-window front and a central doorway featuring a two-light window. The construction is primarily brick with stone dressings. The windows have lattice glazing. The gables are harled with half-timbered detailing. A trellis porch provides entrance, and the roof is covered in patterned slates. The statutory address is The Joiner’s House, Balcarres House.
