Description

This is a dovecot, likely dating from the early 19th century, situated at Balcarres House. It is a square structure built of whin rubble with freestone dressings. The roof is pyramidal and slate-covered, with wooden boxes supported by brick arches within the building. The dovecot is significantly overgrown.
