50, 52 South Street, Bo'Ness

50 and 52 South Street in Bo'ness is a two-storey, four-bay flatted dwelling built around 1900, featuring a shop on the ground floor. The building is constructed from ashlar and squared rubble, with stugged ashlar dressings and harl on the rear. It has a cill course on the first floor, an eaves cornice, and a pedimented balustrade on the north side, along with a deep eaves course on the west side. The first-floor openings on the north side are architraved and tabbed.

On the north elevation, the ground floor shop has been altered and includes an in-canted door with a display window to the left, and two additional display windows to the right. There is a deep fascia board that is out of character between the floors, and on the first floor, there are three windows to the left with a balustrade above, which is topped at the center by a fielded panel and a pediment. There is also a lower bay on the outer right featuring a cartouche.

The west elevation is asymmetrically fenestrated and includes a variety of elements, such as two advanced bays on the left and a stone forestair leading to a deep-set timber door on the right. The windows are fitted with plate glass glazing in timber sash and case frames, while the first floor on the west side has casement and modern glazing. The building has a flat roof and a coped ashlar stack with a can.
